To be serious, I think that if Reyes, Wright, and Bey can produce the way they are capable of doing, and Beltran comes back quickly and positively too, the Metropolitans should have enough offense to compete at the plate. But whereas most teams worry about a reliable 4th or 5th starter, Mac's team has to worry about everyone but Santana . . . and with his injury last season, he's not a given either.

Sorry, my friend, but that's just the way I sees it. But still,

I wholeheartedly agree...Santana is fine (knock on wood). It is 2-5 that I am worried about.

What, no Ollie Perez love?.....we love him here....

.....Gotta look at it this way Mac, it CAN'T be any worse than last year....Hell, even I felt sorry for the Mets after Wright got plunked....

If Perez can get his head right...maybe he'd pay some dividends on that 3 year $ 36 million contract.
