Guys, my trusty butane was going out last night so I used a propane torch to light my cigar. It worked like a champ toasting the foot without scorching it badly, My question is, Is this a no no? it is one of the little blue bottle burnz O matic torches.

I have done it before when my torch was acting up. It worked ok, but you need to be careful or you will burn the crap out of the foot in no time.

This used to be the only way I lit cigars at home. You do have to be careful.

I have done it many times, tough on the small ring sizes but works just fine on the 50+ stuff. Just have to remember not to get fire too close like you did.
