Definitely NOT a PC comment.

As much as the whole PC thing bugs the heck out of me, I'm always amazed when reading old newspaper articles at what was "appropriate" to say in the papers. I am very pleased at how far we've come in recognizing and appreciating diversity in what is really a very short time.
