I do lots of conference calls outside on my patio during the summer. Everyone has to get used to the sound of the two waterfalls in the background, but they want my perspective, so they put up with it.

In summer, it is usually a black and tan and a du Depute or Sir Winston for me.

Glad you get to conference on your terms

OCC is translated - outside for a cigar... LOL My wife knows exactly what I'm up to when I tell her I'm headin' outside for a conference call.

I used to do the same thing in my previous job. The only problem was on the days that the lawn care people came around to my neighbor's homes. I did not participate as much on those days.

I had quite the little setup so that my laptop display was shielded from the sun, etc. (it does help to be able to see the screen for a netmeeting

)

I just got in from ice fishing, we did not get any fish but a few conference calls were made

Where do you go ice fishing? When I head up to Maine I see a lot of people fishing in coves on our lake. It can be a little scary when you are screaming by on a snowmobile and all of a sudden you see a few heads in the corner of your eye when you head into these coves.
