Default Re: How much would you spend?

I fell out of favor with the NC market a while ago, so in the cc market I have/would spend more then $15 on....

Cohiba
RE
LE
Humidor/Jar/Special release cigars.

But for the most part you can find MANY absolute fantastic unreal CC cigars for the same/much less then many NC cigars.

The only NC I would spend that kind of money on is Padron 64, and 26 Maduro.

Not many regular production cigars, maybe a Cohiba Esplendido.

Some of the REs and ELs, Ramon Allones Phoenicios, Edmundo Dantes 109s are a couple that come immediately to mind.

For customs, I have been known to spend more than $15 on cigars rolled by Taboada, Hamlet, La China and a couple others.

Hmm, another interesting topic.

I don't think I've spent over 10 dollars for a single yet, in fact I think the most expensive one that i've bought was an Illusione 4/2g. Definitely worth it in my opinion. (I think it was around the 9 dollar mark.)

Not sure what I WOULD pay yet, I'm sure someday I'll try a Opus or some other 15+ cigar. We will see!

I suppose that since I started this topic, I should chime in.

I have spent $15+ on PAM/PAN '64 & '26. Nearly that for a Drac, a Boris, a few Magnum 50s, but other than that - rarely.

Frankly, if it's something I wanted, I'd be willing to pay $15-20 or maybe more. Esp. for REs, altho they seem to be above and beyond reasonable. But, yes, I'd be willing to spend goodly sums to try a special cigar. Not a grand for a Behike, however.
