Until it gathers steam, like the Skype issue really no way of knowing if it is a resource hog (unless someone sends me their laptop, lol). Regardless since the new dell's come with a min of 2gig dual core CPU and 3 gig DDR it shouldn't matter unless you are compiling a program or something. With that Skype shouldn't even be an issue until you try to do 10 things at once.

As far as is it worth it I'd say no but I know my options.

The aforementioned services are pretty good but I prefer ninjavideo.net
