Have My Own Room
|
I really want to...
I am sitting here smoking my second ever Opus X Robusto, based on its popularity around here it should be amazing, at least worthy of the hefty price tag. The first one had no construction problems but the flavor was not bad at all but just flat and not very complex. The one I am smoking now is having horrible burn issues, it will not stay lit, it tunnels and when it does burn it is all over the place.
I really want to like these but from what I have experienced so far I dont think I will be buying any more. rant over does anyone else have similar issues with these? |

I had one with about 3 months on it, and it was good but it could've been better. I have 2 currently that I am sitting on for at least a year.

Not a big Opus Fan here, I still got a stash from different years and TAA coffins. I heard my old shop got a box of the Love Affair's and wouldn't mind trying one for the hell of it.

I have had one OpusX and it was ok. Nothing that blew me away. I had a Diamond Crown Maximus the next day which was a lot better.

Re: I really want to...
My first couple Opus were great cigars...but since then, they have left me cold. This is from before I even got into Cubans, so that isn't the reason. Just found the last several I smoked to be flat, boring, one dimensional. I know that opinions vary though.

didn't live up to the hype huh.......... interesting, count yourself among a small group of people at least willing to admit it when it happens.
