Piscopo was kinda hit or miss, and there was some other stuff like that, notably the "films" by Albert Brooks; but compared to Armisen it's comedy gold.

Not trying to belabor the point, Jeff....I just can't remember Piscopo ever doing anything funny. But his castmates were all funnier than Fred.

As did the final sketch tonight. Armisen reunites his punk band "for the first time since '83", at his daughter's wedding. I could have seen Will Ferrell doing this back when he was a castmember.

Fred Armisen is awful,l but he's a comic genius next to Tim Kazurinsky. I think that's when I stopped watching regularly.
