I put salted roasted peanuts inside of my Coke Zero. I don't think it's strange, but the family does. It's better with RC cola but you can't find that too much anymore. I have my dad to thank for this most awesome snack

That's a southern thing.. I can't remember what they call it though. It is tasty at 4 in the morning when you've been playing tonk for about 6 hours.
As far as sandwiches go.... I like crispy bacon on plain white bread. |

I like peanut butter on my pancakes and waffles... not sure how strange that is.
Also, if you ever go to McDonalds, next time get some Hot Mustard to eat your fries with! You will thank me later

My wife does that, peanutbutter & syrup on pancakes or waffles. And now our boy does it too. I always ate my flat breakfast items plain with nuthin on them (aside from rolling up a link sausage in a pancake) so it's taking me a LONG time to get converted to the PB pancakes. I'll do it, but only if someone reminds me to try it... again...

Salad with Ketchup as dressing.
Cheez-its dipped in ketchup.. No one has ever found anything I won't put ketchup on and eat. I have to like the food to begin with though. Let me tell you, vanilla ice cream and ketchup is nasty. Also, Soft Dough Pretzel cheeze mixed with ketchup is extremely nasty. |

Since he probably won't post it, my brother grew up surviving on Ketchup sandwiches with about a pouch of Lipton Onion Soup Mix on top of the ketchup.
His choice. Mom fed us well.

My father was known to enjoy a hellmans mayo sandwich on wonder bread. Nothing else, just Hellman's mayo, wonder bread, that's lunch! Never could get into it. He also had a tradition called the ZZtop sandwich, Empty the fridge, put it on a sandwich and that was a meal. Of couse he pulled this when Mom wasn't home.

If we're trying for a heart attack on a stick, I'm sure we can all come up with a recipe! Mine would be... 1 very large tortilla filled with a quarter pound pastrami, 2 quarter pound hot dogs, 3 strips of bacon, chili, hot peppers and onions, wrapped then deep fried. By the way, chilli, hotdogs and pastrme wraped in a tortilla here in Los Angeles is called an Okie Dog! Last edited by Demented; 10-30-2008 at 04:33 PM. |
