Oliveros El Padrino edicion Italiana 'bugsy'
Sorry, no pictures, I lost them during a hard disk crash before I could upload them.
This Oliveros Padrino Edicion Italiana is called Bugsy and has a size of 5.7 inch and a ring of 52. The cigar has a filler of Piloto Cubano Dominican and some rare Italian tobaccos and the wrapper is a triple fermented Brazilian maduro. The wrapper is almost black with a couple of nice looking veins. The band is quite pompous. The cigar feels well constructed and has a nice full hay aroma. The peppery raisin predraw is fine. I get a full coffee flavor with a bit of sugar. The flavors feel sticky. After half an inch the sugary sweetness grows a bit stronger and the flavors start to feel dry. After an inch the sugar changes into sweet chocolate and the coffee loses some of it strength. The chocolate disappears and the sugar returns. The sugar becomes the dominant flavor with a mild chocolate aftertaste. At 2/3rd I also taste some wood. The cigar produces a lot of white smoke. The ash is medium dark gray and quite firm. I had some minor burn issues. I would rate this cigar as full flavored medium bodied. Would I buy this cigar again? No, I wasn't impressed Appearance: 8 / 10 Construction: 7 / 10 Draw: 7 / 10 Smoke & ash: 8 / 10 Burn: 7 / 10 Aroma (first part) 7 / 10 Aroma (middle part) 6 / 10 Aroma (last part) 6 / 10

Re: Oliveros El Padrino edicion Italiana 'bugsy'
I agree with you on this review. I bought a 5 pak about 5 months ago and tried one after a month. It had burn issues all the way through and it just seemed like a mild to medium cigar. It had some decent flavors to it but not enough to keep me interestes as I like a full flavored cigar and this cigar seems to be more suited for somebody who likes a more subdued cigar. Dry is probably the "key" word here even though the flavor seemed ok it just doesn't grab me.
