Not to mention that, if the Phils win, all the talk will be about how good a team they have built. If the Yanks win, all the talk will be about how they "bought" a championship, not how well they played.

So Phillies just might as well lay down and let the Yankees win. Nobody will be shocked, and nobody will give them credit.

The Phillies have the 7th Highest Payroll in Baseball. Don't kid your self. Its not like the Phillies have totally built this team from the ground up.
