Yesterday, was over my son's house, with his miniature pinschers jumping all over me with their nails. That part did freak me out a bit. I figure I will enjoy it or when I die, the guy that comes over and takes my place won't be as nice with it. ![]()

I have always been a big Mattingly fan.
Before Jeter, he was the Yankees. Represented them well. Classy guy. Spent a weekend with him and his family as guests at the hotel I was at. We talked quite a bit by the pool. He tossed the ball with his kids and my son. Bought each other drinks. Very humble and genuinely nice guy. When I looked at the available jerseys, I was focused solely on one possibility and that was 23. Next one will be Jeter's.
