I will own up to it...I think that FLA does not win without that cheat.
I think you are correct, one play being reversed cannot possibly infer that everything else carries on the same, in fact, it's more likely that everything changes. But I do say that if FLA does not get that pass on third down, they punt and the fact that LSU holds for a third drive makes LSU get riled up and fired up and they score two TDs. Lol. What can I say, I am a homer for the Tigers. But I think that was LSU's only ticket to the SEC Champ. in Atlanta. Florida is tough, but highly beatable. Alabama is much more complete. If we have 25% better QB action, we rip FLA a new one and expose them for what they are, a GREAT defense and a good offense. Alabama is almost perfect on both sides of the ball. That said, I am still going to homer up on the Tigers and say that we beat Alabama. Look how far it got me with Fla! Last edited by OLS; 10-13-2009 at 10:16 AM. |

Same thing for S. Carolina, I'm sure Spurrier's working hard after Kentucky's game last week. They'll need a lot, esp. playing at Alabama. |

Lowest points scored in the Urban Meyer era. Gives me DEEP satisfaction. NO touchdowns scored except for a cheat play. Makes me feel MUCH better. Gators noted twice on National TV for cheating, hehe, that is just perfect. Best play of the game for me, personally. When the nose tackle busted the Florida center's chops and set him on his A$$ for moving his head repeatedly. Call that LSU Def. Coord. a chump for being an ex-Tennessee reject, but I like his advice on that particular situation. I laughed for 45 seconds on that one. There is no reconciling this really. Everybody hates Florida but Florida fans. It's because of the smell of their wins, and the sting of the losses they hang on people. You can't get over it. But I am proud of my Tigers for showing the way for Arkansas to whip their ever-lovin A$$ this weekend. You won't be treating Ryan Mallett the way you treated Jordan Jefferson, I can promise you that. I am not sure how much defense the Hogs are going to bring, but they can go TD for TD with Florida. All the rest of us can hope for is that the Gators go down. I do not feel animosity towards any FLA fans, though. You have a winning team to cheer for, and it's not like you don't feel for your Gators the same way I feel for my Tigers. It's just that most people feel sorry for you for the choice you have, lol. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nobody's going to love a team that beats their home team, but I get the feeling that a lot of people still respect Tebow at the very least. He's really a tough player to dislike. I mean, how many other players freaking preach at prisons in their spare time? And he really did deserve that sophomore-year Heisman. At least, that's the vibe I get from a number of other teams' fans.

That said, I think most athiests and agnostics think of Tebow as a bottom-feeding piece of crap. Well, they admire his toughness. And Florida is probably the most popular team in NCAA football outside of the state of Florida. NBC thought it was Notre Dame, lol. This is lodged in my head, though and I will never get over it as long as I live. Just an angry old man. There are no kids on my lawn, so who have I really got to yell at? If FLA had blown us out, NO PROBLEM, NO carryover whatsoever.... $hi+....I said I'd say no more about this, and you sucked me back in...NOW no more about it. ![]() |
