I think you make a great point that this CAN be a non political discussion. Will it? Remains to be seen.
I think I totally agree the merits is incredibly questionable. However, go back to 2001 and note what famous Cuban was nominated. That was equally as absurd. Good luck with this thread as time will tell the direction it takes. I am going to take a nap.
