Does anyone date their cigars...

I write the date on the cello and also write the username of the person who gifted them to me, that way I know who to send thanks to when I smoke'em

I keep a notebook of acquisitions, departures, and tasting notes. Strictly pencil and paper right now but someday hope to computerize it (but probably will never happen).
