Default It had to happen some day

The incredible cheap Colibre knock-off lighter that I've been using almost daily for 3 years finally died. I got it with a 3-pack sampler from CI originally. I'll miss that ligher. Fortunately, at a recent patio herf, Tripp forgot his Ronson, so I'm using that.

I'm impresses with the Ronson and plan to go that route.

What other cheap torch lighters do people use?

The lighter I use is a Freebie from my local Cigar Shop. I went to buy it and was never charged. I sat down had half a cigar and thought "hmmm 20 bucks for 3 cigars AND a lighter?" So I told the manager. He said honesty has it's own rewards and that I can keep it no charge. Cool. It was like 8 bucks and has worked great for a year.

I don't think my anecdote helps but felt the need to share the good kharma.

I really like my Z-Plus insert...

Let's me use one of my Dad's old Zippo cases - and it works great.

The Guangda torch is an unbeatable bargain. More fuel than Ronson and you can see the contents(no running out halfway through a herf). Sku 1455 is also a very good lighter. The angled head makes lighting a cigar a breeze. I have handed these both out to many brothers here some approaching 2 years of use.

My first Blazer PB-207 lasted over 4 years before finally crapping out. On my second one now, just hoping for another 4+ years of success.
