Don Francisco petit corona
I received a boatload of these from Don as a reward for bombing the heck out of Savor the Stick. Finally found some time to light one up on father's day while grilling up food for a party of 20. No camera handy but will do my best to describe it.
Pre-light draw and aroma was exquisite. Earthy, sort of fruity flavor. First draw was overwhelming. Strong tobacco and some chocolate. No offensive tastes. I was tempted, and succumbed a few times to taking a few more draws too quickly. The flavor heated up but didn't go foul. Over halfway through the flavors didn't change much (not expected in a petit) but the flavor was good enough not to care. Wasn't able to smoke it to my fingers (food was done) but would have if I had the time. Overall, well worth the decision to go with an unknown (to me) on father's day. Highly recommend you seek one of these out. Thanks again Don! |

Thanks for the review. I haven't had that particular size yet but I do no that the construction on his cigars is very nice.

Re: Don Francisco petit corona
I have tried the Milder Connecticut sticks. These are great cigars! Mild yes, but full of flavor. The burn is very nice. Aroma is killer. You can get singles at the shop . . but only boxes online. http://www.donfranciscocigars.com/index.html
check them out you'll be happy you did. |
