The trop has been really tough for us this year. Hope Beckett can get off his ass and start pitching again...

Lester came through in game one vs the Rays, but once again Okajima almost blew it. I don't know what's wrong with him lately, (he did the same thing vs Toronto Saturday night), but I sure hope he gets back to where he was earlier in the season.

On a positive note, a good showing by Billy Wagner. Nice to see one of Theo's reclaimation projects actually working out.

Isn't Jacoby Ellsbury fun to watch ... how come he doesn't have a good nickname?

Keep the faith, he'll be OK. All pitchers have rocky periods, we just have to hope he is over his for the year.

Hey, at least Wagner seems to be working out in more ways than one. He's been very good in the innings he's pitched, and Papelbon seems to be stepping up his game, given the new competition.
