From what I've been able to find out the Distillery changed ownership in 2003. I think your bottle came from before the change and the other picture you showed is from after. I'm not sure if there was a change in the master distiller or not. If there was, there may be a difference in the taste between the old bottlings and the new ones.

I'll try to dig up more info for you.

Thanks Ian!

I'm going to swing by and grab another bottle if they still have them. It definitely didn't taste like a $25 bottle of Scotch, very complex - not a daily drinker for me but a nice change of pace.

The newer bottles of Edradour cost anywhere from $50-60 or even a bit more. I'm not sure if there is a difference between what you have and what the current stuff is.

I have a coworker that loves the stuff.

Glenlivit 12 Year Old

I bought a one litre bottle before I quit drinking (which was 23 years ago now). I guess that would make it at least 35 years old today - probably closer to 40. Never did get to taste it. Finally cracked it open several years ago for a friend of my wife who was visiting from back East (she said it was fine).

I still have three-fourths of the bottle left.
