A guitar icon. I was just on Les Paul Blvd. in Wauwautosa, WI last week for the first time.

Absolutely. A lot of you youngsters may know he invented the electric guitar and invented multi-track recording, but did you know he invented the multi-track recorder itself? Since the machines being made could not do what he heard in his head, he wired an extra "head" into an early reel-to-reel deck.

Rest in peace, Les. There will never be another.
