Sox pitching coach says Smoltz gets another start.
This guy is getting hammered by the worst teams in baseball, what's going to happen when he faces the Iron, he will be lucky to get out of the first inning?
Between Smoltz and Dice-K out of 15 starts they have a combined record of 2+9.
Buchholz is 1+1 after two, looks like a no brainier to me, eat the contract and send him packing.

Dice-K should just man up he stunk out the house this year.
He is blaming the Sox because he got hammered every start? Well he came to spring training directly from the WBC, the Sox had nothing to do with his training or conditioning.
Of course he can't pitch like in Japan, Japanese baseball is not even as good as AAA in the USA.

On a positive note Beckett was his usual stellar self last night and finally the team broke out of their collective hitting slump.

Ain't it nice to be back in Fenway and playing the A's?

Sox trade Adam LaRoche to the Braves for Casey Kotchman.
The Sox done LaRoche a favor Kotchman will never play now with Victor Martinez on board.

According to multiple reports, Boston has completed a deal for All-Star catcher Victor Martinez, sending three young pitchers -- Justin Masterson, Nick Hagadone and Bryan Price -- to the Cleveland Indians.

Tito will REALLY be able to do some lineup juggling now.
