I was thinking about picking one of these up also. I have quite a bit of Best Buy rewards certificates and travel every other week for work. I've been lugging around my laptop, which isn't a huge deal, but would like to pack lighter if I could.
While travelling, I only use my laptop for web/email anyway, with the occasional Office docs. I looked @ BB last week, and I liked the Asus and HP, although they all seem to be around the same price and specs. I guess it just depends on cosmetics then. |

I've had a MSI Wind U-100 that has worked flawlessly since I've owned it. I use it in my mini-mancave every night, and take it with me to the B&M often to use it with their wi-fi.
I did upgrade to the 6-cell battery for longer life, but I also purchased an extra power supply that I leave out in my mmc so I can just plug it in when I go out in the evenings. The other thing I did invest in was a Logitech wireless mouse, as I hate touchpads. Netbooks are excellent if you need something to surf the web, check and answer email and move it around alot. ![]() ![]()
