my neighbor the chef told me to mix my favorite rub with butter and wrap the corn in foil with a tsn of the mix. all i can say is it makes the corn OUTSTANDING. i use mcormics chpolltia and cinnimon. enjoy.

I do the same thing regularly, except with a compound butter made of Basil, Garlic Powder, and Salt + Irish Cream butter. Its great and if you have really good sweet white corn its even better

Lime juice and salt ain't half bad either. Compound citrus butters also work very well on corn.

Sounds good, my favorite is Mexican corn on the cob blackened on the grill.... similar idea but blacken a little on the grill at the end, a little mayo, dry white cheese, dam, I am hungry now.
