Photoshop question CS4 vs Lightroom
Does anyone have experance with both Lightroom and Photshop? What are the advantages of Photoshop vs Lightroom. I like to shoot in RAW if that makes a difference.

They compliment eachother imo. Lightroom is a great tool for color cirrection, cropping, etc. Photoshoo is good for drastically modifying the image.

Re: Photoshop question CS4 vs Lightroom
Like Jordan said. Lightroom works perfect with RAW files. In addition you import all of your photos into Lightroom - by whatever designation you prefer. You can tag them, organize, etc. In effect it takes all of your photos and puts them in one central location.
I import almost all of my photos by date and then tag then as needed. Some are imported by folder depending on what they are. I don't actually use Lightroom to it's fullest potential - but you know, someday. Ron |
