Default Rocky Patel Autumn collection

So I just bought the new RP Autumn collection cigar. I believe it's a longsdale or churchill. Has anybody else smoked it yet. I'm hesitant and need either a heads up or a thumbs up.

I smoked the summer and loved the lonsdale/lancero sized one. Thats saying something, RP isn't really part of my normal smoking selection.

It is mild to medium in strength. It is pretty flavorful. Not a bad stick.

Ok, I smoked it Tuesday 24th. It was as mild as it looked like it was gonna be. Base flavor was sweet(ish) fresh cut wood. Other flavors were toasted nuts and perhaps bread. These flavors weren't really at the scale that I like. I can say this, it was very creamy and smooth. Practically flawless in construction until the the near end where it suddenly went out. Overall, better than the summer collection but not worth nearly $9.00.

thanks for the review, I picked up 2 a few months back but haven't smoked them. Sounds like a nice morning round of golf smoke.

I was just at an event and met Rocky himself yesterday 3/04/09 and he showed me the new winter collection. I didn't get one yet. After I discussed what happened to the Edge Sumatra and that I miss that cigar's pepperiness he said the winter collection is very peppery so I'm definitely gonna give it a whirl.

I just picked one up at an event on the 4th as well. Not much into mild cigars on a regular basis, but sound like it might be worth a go.

Thanks for the review!

Yeah, I'm hoping the winter isn't gonna be mild like the other ones.

Ok, so I'm a little out of the loop on "RP Collections" thing. What is the story behind them? Is the winter maduro already been released? What other variations are there?

The first I heard of them was when the RP rep handed me the autumn one.

I must agree that it's mild to medium and flavorful.
I had a 2009 winter blend the next day and it was
even better.

It's a cigar... smoke it!

I'm finishing an 08 right now, These are fantastic. I only have two left of the 08's. So smooth... Lot's of flavor!

I haven't tried any of the other season blends, But, I am now looking forward to trying them all.
