To touch is the feel of plastic but not cheap...can't go wrong with the burlwood or the carbon fiber...same feel for both. Woodfgrain in appearance, but not textured. Johnnykay5 has the carbon and both look great..more importantly...they cut awesome!!!

I have a black, its about the only one I like. But they do work great. Mine got a little stuck at times but I was able to make an exchange and very happy with the new one I got. What's the first cigar you cut with it?

Yes, I have the plain black plastic one and really like it. Great cut!

It seems like manufacturing for Palio may have just been updated. The new look for the Burl and CF models, i think look nicer than previous and the gold is now gold and not champagne colored. Heres to hoping for a better durability over time on the finishes.
