Boswell pipes are great smokers. I still have one from 1999 and traded one away. I'd like to get in on this if there's room. If it's full then that's OK, too.

There's one thing I notice about Boswell's pokers that bothers me a little.
Iīm slightly germofobic and I canīt help to notice that some of those pipes are carved in a way in which the bit touches the surface... I mean, one of the advantages of pokers is precisely their sitting ability, which means you can put them down anywhere... I really wouldnīt be confortable in putting down a pipe whose bit touches the surface, at least at most places... I would like to know what you guys think about that (am I too paranoid about germs?), but I think that's not a good concept for sitter pipes. So, Tim, if not too much bother, maybe you could mention that to JM? I really wouldn't be able to enjoy my pipe otherwise... Sorry for being such a pain in the arse. |
