What does dc# mean in for sale ads?

dc# mean in for sale ads? I used nextel before so to me thats a direct connect number, but I dont see why that would be beneficial.

Almost, except it doesn't track, only confirm delivery.

Its not additional if you pay for postage online via USPS Click n' Ship
