I saw a Camacho Liberty being sold as "Pre Embargo" in a hotel bar for $129.00.

that's because they are said to contain some amount of "pre-embargo" tobacco in them (most likely a sprinkle of dried up old stuff, so they arent lying). still a ridiculous price hike, but still, people will pay it...

most i've paid for cigars were 8-10 pounds for pc's in london, something to walk around with. i realized i was spending close to $17 for a smaller, regular production cc, but it was part of the atmosphere, and the fact that i was on vacation. nothing like walking around london with a fine stogie in your mouth

On my last day in Vegas last year I ran out of stogies and paid $8 for a Padron 2000.
