Oh God....where do I begin?
![]() Davidoff Special 53 Davidoff Diademas Finas Davidoff 100th Anniversary Robusto Avo LE 05 Avo LE 07 I think those are the saddest discontinuations for me (well, not so much "discontinuations" as they were a one-time, limited-release cigar, never to be made again ![]() You can still find some of the 100th Anniversary Robustos here and there but they are dwindling fast. So, if you want any more, start working your way through the Yellow Pages... |

I really miss the La Gloria Cubanas made in Miami when they were only made in Miami. There was no space in the little El Credito shop to store and further age tobacco when it came in. The cigars were rolled up quickly to make room for more tobacco. They had such a fresh and raw taste to them.
I was talking to an old guy in Florida way back when and he had a great line that described them perfectly. He said "You can hide these under your bed and six months later they still taste raw." I know that they still make 'em in Miami, but they're made with tobacco that has been stored and aged at the factory in the DR. I still try to buy the cigars made in Miami, more for "old times sake" than anything else. I'm thrilled that Ernie and his family are leaving LGC and starting a small cigar company. I pray that the old raw taste will return. ![]()

Cifuentes - the old blend (1980s-90s). On the milder side, but there was buttery texture and flavor to the smoke, with nuts. Wonderful.
