Cool link, WyoBob!

Oh man, riding from SEA to Patagonia would be way cool, but take more time than I want to commit to next winter. And there are those pesky cigars that would get hammered to dust in the topbox.

.... suggestions so far include Cuba, Napa, PV, NZ, and the Keys. AFAIK, only Cuba has actual vegas.

I'd LIKE to visit the island before the embargo ends, but I'll need a back up plan for, say, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica... ???

Ooo... I just found out about Camp Camacho, http://camachocigars.com/2008/11/10/visit-camp-camacho/, but too late for this winter, DAG!

Also learned the dates Fumee's Hond/Nic trip in October I already have booked. DOUBLE DAG!

I like the Camp Camacho set up, kind of, because it would allow a nice introduction to the vega AND I'd stay on in the area (or head to the beach) for another ten days or so... YEAH!

*sigh* More snow headed this way this weekend.

This will have to be in 2/09, I'm thinking, just going to block out the weeks before and after Presidents Day weekend. Still looking for ideas...

Joan,

Here's a vacation/motorcycle idea for you. This is a friend of mine who is a geologist that I've worked with in the past (back when I had a job in the methane field.)

He's a real adventurer and rides a motorcycle (redundant?) so I thought you'd get a big kick out of reading his site. If you duplicated his trip, you'd be warm, that's for sure.

I've got a couple of geologist friends that can't sit still for a minute. I had Indian food with both of them a few weeks ago in Denver and thanked them for all of their "travel logs" as I could live my life vicariously through them, stay safe and save a lot of money!
