I wasn't a fan. If your looking for a yardgar from Holts, I'd try Boardwalk (non-pepin) or Benchmade. They are both a lot cheaper and taste much better IMHO.

I enjoyed the Fundadores from Pepin as a GREAT yardgar.

Anyone had the Old Henry's though?

(love the John Candy line... what does that mean anyway? He always had these great lines that made little sense, but were hilarious)

I love the Old Henrys! This is one of my go to smokes and about 70% of my humi is Pepins blends. On special you can get these for around $3. Noticed these are now available in a maduro blend.

What's the flavor profile on these? What DPG is it most like?

Thanks

I find the Old Henrys creamy with some leather, cocoa and spice. Not as spicy as many Pepins ( and I love the spice ) but something about these I really like. Find them very smooth but full of flavor begining to end. I guess they would be somewhat like a San Cristobal.

Thanks! Just did some figuring on the Old Henry, $4+ per stick???? That's a blue, or a 601 from cbid, and I'm sure they're much better. Now I'm going through a Benchmade thing, but looking for the next DPG obsession. For me, Benchmade is a pretty good smoke for the money... Now, about these Fumadors
