Thanks for the kind birthday wishes...
8/8 was a busy day as I had just gotten back from our church body's synod-wide convention, and found myself prepping for a funeral and guests arriving from Russia who stayed with us until Saturday.
I am not at a retreat with our Catechumen's and finally have some free time to check CA as I am waiting for them to settle into their bunks as it is lights out!

It has been a great week. Wonderful to share a cigar every evening with my Russian guests, along with some interesting libations.
