I've always used the guillotine. Mainly cheapo's during the years until my Palio came along (Yes, the honeymoon is still on ). In addition to the Palio, I will generally use a punch when it comes to a larger ring guage. The NUB comes to mind. I had the privilage of using a Xikar punch when I visited Liberty Cigars in San Diego last August 08 on a NUB, which produced an excellent draw
