Next, the FIRECRACKER made its way to the Dominican Republic and was rolled at Tabacalera Leyendas Cubanas, later returning again to the Dominican Republic to be manufactured by La Flor Dominicana in 2015. In 2016 it was back again to Nicaragua to RoMa Craft Tobacco with the CroMagnon and in 2017 came the Fratello.

Completely forgot about this. Both cigars arrived, house and the Fratello blend.

First neither came close to what I remember of the DPG firecracker.

Both were a bit light and lacking on the peppery kick that the original had.

Maybe one of the other guys can chime in, but I think it was the Fratello that had a nice sweetness and very little pepper to it.

Would I buy either again, honestly I don't know. I think the Fratello makes a pretty good first cigar of the day. I wouldn't do that with a firecracker.

I have a Fratello or two left, maybe I'll light one up tonight after work.
