Default Re: Your first cigar

Well for me, I had been smoking cigars for about 6 years but never seriously. So I didn't own a humidor, cutter, or any cigars other than the ones I would buy going to the cigar stores to smoke the day I bought them. I probably only smoked about 5-6 per year at events like BBQs and such.

Well I met a guy (named Ray...) that my gf worked with and had a bunch of classes with. We all started hanging out more and eventually as we all became friends we started to play poker as a weekly event. Well one of the poker events the topic got to cigars... and I expressed some interest in cigars, so Ray (Spect) asked me if I wanted to go down to the cigar shop and have a cigar. I said sure... not even sure what cigar it was other than a Fuente of some kind. But I enjoyed the cigar so much, that he felt inclined to push me off the cliff and down the slope...

Now here I am almost 2 years after that, I have about 3-4 cigars a week average and my Cabinet is almost full and the overflow is working its way into one of two Vinos...

I know it wasn't my first cigar... but it is the one I consider to be my first since it was the one responsible for my quick fall off the cliff!
