That would've been bad enough but SS Everett Scott, C/OF Wally Schang, RHP Carl Mays, RHP Bullet Joe Bush, RHP Sad Sam Jones got sold to the Yankees, too. Most of the rest of the 1918 team were sold off to others by 1920-1921. Harry Frazee burns in Baseball Hell!
