All you need is some fans and an ac adapter and beads. Super easy.
I have 3 of these units, Mac has one, and I've never done a thing. Never had to replace a fan, either. They're all about 6 years old, and should last indefinately as little as they cycle.

That's a 34 bottle, they were right around 200 bucks.
I looked at Lowe's, they're no longer available. Look around and you may find one on the cheap.

It's not a model-specific issue, really. That one is just super easy to retrofit and you don't need a controller.
Don't tell anyone I told you.

Looks like it's the Model #: FFWC35L2QB cooler now. 250 bucks.
