I paid 75 bucks for mine new. 2nd edition.
These are super hard to get now, I don't think $300 is unfair at all. I'd think it'd sell in a minute for $250. I've also seen prices from $500 to $1000, but haven't seen any sell at those prices. Those were also for 1st editions. Mind ya, there aren't ever going to be any more of these.
