I subscribe to said mag!
What I mean is, sometimes the pseudocognicenti know a bit - enough to snag the luxury stick!

Give them what you like. No need to impress them. A good cigar regardless of the price will (should) please any real cigar smoker. If they don't like what you have to offer tough luck. They should appreciate your gesture. If not they can bring their own.
