Default Restoring Pipes

I did a search but could not find what I was looking for here on the forums. Does anyone have a good resource to walk you through pipe restoration or is it better to pay someone to do it? I received a couple pipes yesterday and they are in pretty good shape. I have never had an estate pipe and the thought of smoking a used pipe seemed kind of creepy to me. I am over that though and have 2 really nice pipes I want to clean up and smoke. They don't need much work so I think I can do it. Bowls are not caked too bad and the stems need some work.

Thanks. Here is a pic. It is the two on the right. Package I received in a trade war.

One is a La Raganella Diamante

The other has a signature and says Fait Main St Claude France - Just researched this and see it is a Morel

It's hard to tell from the pictures but those pipes look like they are in pretty good shape. You might just need to do a good cleaning and polish them.

Here is a guide I found online that shows some basic processes: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-...pipe/?ALLSTEPS
