Was reading an article one time, backstory on either The Magnificient Seven or maybe one of the other westerns Wallach was in. One thing he had an awful time getting the hang of was reholstering his revolver without looking down at the hoslter. They had to recut some film because it wouldn't look right to have his character appear like a gun-novice.

Because of all the ribbing he got from other actors Wallach made a point of getting better at it so it looked like his characters knew their way around guns in subsequent films.
