Silly as in why would they ban such a benign commercial, other than Goodell is Satan?

There are Raiders fans that would give children nightmares yet they ban a commercial that never even mentions the word gun, just a guy his wife and baby...crazy!!

Meh, they have the right to choose advertisers, just like I choose not to give them any money. They ban commercials all the time. Much ado about nothing imo.

It is a good commercial....don't see the harm but now-a-days everyone is on edge and we don't want to offend anyone. That being said, I love the rant at the end of it its so true, anything on simple tv anymore is all sex driven and I honestly wouldn't know if I would let me daughter watch the half time shows (luckily she is still to young to understand so bring on Beyoncé )

For me personally, I'd much rather have my football loving son watch this commercial than the endless commercials about E.D. Better stated perhaps; I'd replace every Viagra commercial on MLB and NFL networks with a commercial that offers people a way to better defend their families.

I liked the commercial and the rant. Well done, both.
I still filed it under "it's not anyone's right to tell anyone else what they have to do".
Yes, it's stupid. But if the NFL doesn't want the commercial, it's their choice and their freedom to ignore it.
Mine, too. And yours.
I'm gonna buy a gun AND watch the Superbowl.
