Maduro & Oscuro Whore-O
|
Hasn't been much buzz about them here, which usually isn't a good sign. I was thinking of trying them, but thought I'd ask for opinions of them. So has anyone smoked some and if so what did you think?

Doug, I smoked a corona a few months back and it wasn't bad. Nothing to write home about, but a decent stick nonetheless.

Ditto what Mac said. Decent smokes to have around, but nothing special. I've smoked several of each size and the corona is probably the best IMO.

I got a Toro in a sampler back in January. I Let it rest for six weeks before smoking it. It was an okay smoke, nothing really remarkable about it.

I've been curious about these too.. I've seen them go for as low as $30 a box, and I think at that price it would be hard to pass them up.

Just trying to keep up

I bought a box of coronas in February and they have gotten a lot better the last few sticks. I have only tried a few AB sticks and couple of Padillas that I'm pretty sure were made at the same place. I think they share similar tastes in some aspects, to my palate at least. Great construction as well. If you enjoy Honduran influenced sticks, I would recommend them.
