How Do You Volunteer in Your Community...

Here, I work in a clinic biweekly to see local nationals in a free clinic. It's amazing how long some of these people go without seeking care.

I work with the high school youth group at church, and teach the 8th grade confirmation classes.

Volunteer Firefighter and activity chairman with the boy scouts (helping the young men learn how to organize and run the monthly camping trips).

I'm in a local chapter of the Jaycees - an international service group. We coordinate an array of activities for kids/community. It also serves as a business networking/self enrichment resource.

If you're looking for something to do, there's probably a chapter near you
