I think what Bob is trying to say is that you should buy boxes based on what you like, not blindly based on what someone else likes or recommends. If someone likes and recommends a cigar, and it sounds interesting to you, don't buy a box, start with a few singles at your B&M or a 5'er. Blindly committing to a whole box could easily leave you with a lot of cigars that you don't like enough to keep.

I understand what he is trying to say. In my response, I said I have been buying boxes of cigars I've tried and liked. I was curious about the Toranos because they are always selling for so cheap and just wanted to opinions. Not trying to ruffle any feathers.....

Exactly. Conversely, I would also not give up on a cigar based upon someone else's opinion or a single smoke. We all have different palates, that is why there are thousands of cigars out there.
