Ive had 3 GM trucks, a Suburban, a Yukon and most recently a new Avalanche. I have always liked the way that the GM trucks feel on the road and the generous interior space therein. The Yukon (1999) had a TON of problems, I eventually traded it in for another vehicle.
The Avalanche is probably the best truck I have ever owned - it gets 17/18mpg city and rides like a dream. My passengers say that it feels like they are in a car with a tuned suspension. The front seats are factory bench, so I have room to stretch out without banging my knees into plastic console supports. I have had minor issues with it, but nothing major and all have been addressed quickly. I have always been a GM guy... But, the new 2009 F150 is a damn nice truck - and Ford hasnt asked for any federal bailout bucks (yet).... I may go Ford for my next truck, will see.... |
