CI has 10-packs for $49.99 for a limited time. Normally I don't pick up 10 of something I've never smoked before, but I said "what the hell, it's the holidays" and ordered one.

Same. Plus, these come in 4 count tins. I highly doubt any company is taking them out of said tins to put them in 10 packs.

While it is possible that the poster made an error in the writing of his post, many manufacturers, Drew Estate included, will package certain cigars into cello mazos, typically 20 or 25 cigars, although I have seen 5s, 10s and even a 6. This can be for the big operations like CI, Famous, JR, etc to further break down into singles, 5'ers, 10's whatever, or, for internal use, events, etc. This allows them to provide a larger quantity of cigars at a lower per unit cost since the packaging isn't included. This doesn't happen with all cigars, there's no set rule for which ones get the mazo treatment.

All that being said, I can't say if the PF's were or were not packaged this way, but I can tell you that some of the stuff manufacturers package into mazos might surprise you.

Oh, and breaking down 4-tins into 5 or 10-packs, actually, I've seen big e-tailers do sillier things.

Probably best to let the poster clarify rather than running amok substituting your assertions for facts.

Got the deal through CI's "Weekend Spotlight" e-mail deal. Here's the link:
http://www.cigarsinternational.com/p...=SP-LPD4544-10

Deal's still valid: 10/$49.99

And the alternative is that I mistook some other brand to read "Liga Privada Papas Fritas, from Drew Estates"? I do need reading glasses, but that would be a hell of a mistake.

I didn't mean to come off as an ass, as I'll admit I did reading back on it, but when all we had to go on was "oh hey, these are on CI in 10 packs for $xx.xx" and could find nothing on CI at all similar(they don't even list that they carry the Papas Fritas), not to mention how odd it seems(at least to me) that they would split up tins of these, there is reason to be at least somewhat skeptical.
