Rooting my phone
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with rooting Android phones. I have a Samsung Galaxy S (Facinate) I500 running Android 2.3.5. I have read a few different method but they seem a bit out of my realm. I'm due for an upgrade but I thought maybe by doing this I can hold off. Any rooting for dumbies out there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I actually am rocking my old EVO 4g again waiting to see if Sprint is going to get the Galaxy note 2. Just can't go to iPhone 5. I need minimum 4.5 screen Rooting can allow you to run some new roms and add some life and performance. |

Galaxy S Root Forums
There are tons of other phone forums there, if this isn't it, you may find it there.

Re: Rooting my phone
I had the Samsung epic 4g (Sprint version of the original Galaxy S) and rooted/installed a handfull of custom roms.
I usually start with XDA forums, specifically for your phone, by clicking here. But, yeah, there are already a couple of really great sources posted. Do it, you won't regret it. You can undo whatever you end up doing usually. Also, always check out youtube. Tons of great info there.
