That coffee is the most important part.

I have to go out into the mill regularly to collect samples. One night one of the supervisors told me to know who the oldest guy on the shift was and if I saw him running to run the same way because the sh*t was about to hit the fan.

i'm one of 4 that runs the power house at a hardwood flooring plant. we run a boiler, use process steam for drying kilns and supper heated steam to run a turbine to produce electricity for the plant. we work a "dupont schedule" 12 hr shifts, 4 nights, 3 off, 3 days, 1 off, 3 nights, 3 off, 4 days, then a week off. i love the nights the most but i really love the week off every month.

We do, 4 days on then 4 off. It makes for 12 day vacations,I like that part. I also will fit in a 2-6 hr. Nap tonight.

I work 5 -8hr shifts a week from 11pm-7am in a hospital emergency dept... So much fun.... Not really
